Contributor Update: Sarah Pape

Past contributor Sarah Pape is the managing editor at the literary journal Watershed Review. The journal recently launched it’s spring issue for 2017 which features some impressive fiction, poetry, and artwork. The journal was founded in 1977 and operates out of California State University, Chico. Check out Watershed Review online here.

Congratulations Irena Praitis

Congratulations to SR Contributor Irena Praitis on her prize-winning book of poems The Last Stone in the Circle which is set to release June 2016 from Red Mountain Press. The collection features poems from Issue One, and is available for order here.

For those in Sante Fe, Irena will be reading her work at Teatro Paraguas, 3504 Calle Marie at 3pm on June 19.

Each Tuesday we feature audio or video of an SR Contributor reading their work. Today we’re proud to feature this podcast by Heather Altfeld.

Heather AltfeldHeather Altfeld teaches composition at California State University, Chico. She is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and has published poetry inPleiades, ZYZZYVA, The Tule Review, The Squaw Valley Review, Clackamas, The Arroyo Review, and The New Guard, with poems forthcoming in The Greensboro Review and Zone 3. She has just completed her first manuscript of poems, entitledThe Disappearing Theatre. She loves to cook, travel, be outdoors, and she collects and adores children’s literature.
